Treaty of Versailles
"World War I: Treaties and Reparations." United States Holocaust Memory Museum. USHMM, 11 May 2012. Web. 8 May 2013.
This article explains what the Treaty of Versailles did to Germany. It goes in depth on how Germany viewed the document. The article also describes Germany's want for power, military, and land. This was impossible though because of the Treaty. The resentment of the Allies and the treaty led to nationalistic views and eventually led to the the Nazis and The third Reich who were both responsible for the Holocaust.
The Rise of the Third Reich
"Third Reich: An Overview." United States Holocaust Memory Museum. USHMM, 11 May 2012. Web. 8 May 2013.
This article goes in depth to how the Third Reich came to power and what their main goals as a government were. The Third Reich's main goals were to spread Eastward and make The Aryan German race superior. They also implemented such policies as having women make as many pure Aryan babies as they could. They wanted ti eliminate all "inferior" peoples as possible. These views prove that Hitler's appointment as Chancellor and eventual takeover as dictator paved the way for the Holocaust. The Third Reich rising to power combined all the views and events that had happened against Jews into one powerful Government.
